  • Please see the details of our Admissions Process.

  • You can follow the admissions process and complete an online application which is outlined here.

  • $250. This is a one-time fee. If there are not enough spaces when you first apply, or if you decide to defer your application to a later date you will not need to re-pay the application fee in subsequent years.

    • JK applications should be submitted by the end of November of the year before your child will start at Webber Academy.

    • SK applications should be submitted by early January of the year your child will start at Webber Academy

    • We recommend that grade 1-12 applications are submitted by the end of March of the year your child will start at Webber Academy.

    • For grades where spaces are limited applying early is recommended.

  • Space availability varies by grade, typically the situation will be:

    • Junior Kindergarten: 44 spaces each year

    • Birth certificate

    • Certificate of Canadian Citizenship, Parent's Work Permit, or Applicant's Permanent Resident Card

  • A teacher/professional reference is required for all students, especially those who:

    • Are not able to provide an official school report card (e.g. children attending daycare)

  • Yes, we welcome applications from international applicants who have a strong level of ability in English.

International applicants will go through the same admissions process as local/Canadian applicants.

  • Please visit the Admissions Assessment page.

  • There is no a set score we require. Keep in mind your child is competing against and being compared to other applicants as well as our currently enrolled students. The minimum score varies by year and grade. As a general rule, students should aim to score above average in all three sections of the test, and in the 50th percentile or higher for a total score.

  • Students with strong applications and admissions testing scores will be invited to a classroom visit. The purpose of the class visit is to:

    • Allow our teachers to see if a student will be a good fit at Webber Academy from both an academic and social perspective.

    • Allow students to meet our students and teachers and to find out what it would be like to attend Webber Academy.

For distance applicants that are not able to attend a class visit, we would require the completion of the Confidential Report Form but a homeroom teacher at the current school.

  • Generally, we accept about 55-60% of the students who apply.

  • While we do have students in our school who speak English as their second language, all have displayed proficiency in English. Due to the enriched and accelerated academic programme at Webber Academy, in order to be considered for admission, a student must display a strong level of ability in English. We do not have ESL/EAL/ELL support programmes.

*CBE report cards with ELL indicators must be LP4 (minimum) or LP5 (preferred)*
