Junior High School Band Teacher

Webber Academy is currently accepting applications for a Junior High School Band Teacher position for the 2018-19 school year.  Webber Academy is a non-denominational, co-educational, JK - Grade 12 university preparatory school with a very strong academic record.  Applicants should have at least two years of teaching experience. Remuneration is at or above normal standards. Applicant must be eligible for an Alberta teaching certificate. Facility Cleaner & light maintenance (Evening Shift)

Facility Cleaner & light maintenance (Day Shifts) 

 

Duties may include:

•    Cleaning such as dusting, washing, sweeping, disinfecting and vacuuming

•    Stripping, waxing and buffing floors

•    Cleaning and restocking of washrooms

•    Operating manual and powered cleaning equipment (Auto Scrubbers, Floor Polishers and Carpet Cleaner)

•    Preparing and safely using cleaning chemicals and protective equipment when and where necessary

•    Removal of Trash and Recycling

•    Light seasonal grounds maintenance as required such as watering, weeding, garbage collection, snow clearing.

•    May be asked to work weekends

 

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

•    Take direction from supervisors and co-workers

•    Responsible and capable of following procedures

•    Ability to identify safety hazards

•    High standards, Self-initiative and ability to work independently

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

 

Must be legally able to work in Canada

Must pass Criminal Background Check

Must be able to undergo WHMIS training and write exam in English
